Sanitation Technician- Predictive Hire (Claxton)

Earn up to $29.61 an hour in 24 months
12 Hour Shift: Nights- Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night, 7pm-7am

Pay Scale (SWMO-04B):
Starting wage: $24.40
24 month top out: $28.61
Night differential: additional $1.00

Position Purpose :
- Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety.
- Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to this position.
- Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for the position.
- Follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement outages by contacting appropriate leadership.
- Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and production.
- Record accurate data on MSS and Log reports daily.
Essential Functions:
- Complete all MSS tasks in a timely manner.
- Tear down production equipment.
- Complete a full 7 step cleanup in a timely manner.
- Assemble production equipment.
- Complete all paperwork for assigned tasks.
- Must be able to dilute chemicals to the proper concentration.
- Partner will be expected to use hand tools, high pressure systems, power sprayers, rinsing units and sanitation chemicals all in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned by Sanitarian and Sanitation Line Lead.
- Teamwork and compliance with plant policies and procedures.
- Satisfactory attendance record. Must be on-time to work.
- Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Physical Demands Analysis:
- Stand up to 12 hours per day
- Walk up to 60% of the day
- Work in cold, hot or wet environment up to 12 hours per day
- Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds3 0% of the day
- Lift up to 150 pounds assisted as needed
- Bend/Squat/Twist up to 15 minutes per hour
- Ability to lift and reach shoulder height and above repetitively frequently
- Ability to climb steps/ladders and work at heights occasionally
- Ability to quickly access different areas of the plant frequently
Requirements:
- Candidates must have the ability to read, understand and follow written procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehension of the English language is required.
- At least two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
- This job may require you to operate an electronic pallet jack and/or a forklift.
- This position requires passing a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.
