This internship offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 3 days/week onsite at Home Office and 2 days/week from home.
This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of pay: $18.75
What you'll do:
- Evaluate requests for certificates of insurance.
- Assist in insurance-related journal entries and reporting to the organization.
- Review banking transactions daily to validate categorization.
- Forecast bank balances in order to transfer funds and initiate bank loans.
- Assist with credit references and credit applications.
- Coordinate and execute annual insurance renewal processes.
- Project work.
What you need to succeed:
- Must be currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Prior experience in banking or corporate finance preferred.
- With position start date in spring semester 2026, must have at least 2 semesters remaining in school upon start date (Spring 2027 grads or later).
- Ability to work year-round at our Home Office located in Green Bay, WI is preferred.
- Ability to work no fewer than 20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer. Ability to work Monday-Friday is preferred. Flexible work schedule will be provided with ability to work from home at times.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) with a strong emphasis in Excel. Familiarity with emerging digital technology solutions (PowerBI, generative AI tools, PowerAutomate) preferred.
- Willingness to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply creative thinking skills.
- Self-directed.
