The divisional engineer will improve the operational effectiveness of the residential division through innovation, fostering collaboration inside and outside our division, and leveraging data for operational improvement.
Execute projects of strategic importance at the direction of the VP and division directors
Assist residential plants in improving the effectiveness of equipment and processes through the use of analytics
Identify and pursue opportunities to strengthen collaborative efforts between facilities to accelerate the adoption of best practices and improve troubleshooting
Represent the division in partnerships with SCBS, IT, and CIM to get the facilities the tools they need to succeed
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to allow business users to make better data-driven decisions
Design and customize complex search queries and promote advanced searching and analytics
Empower engineers throughout the division to pursue initiatives that improve productivity. Build the bench of technical talent in the division by identifying resource gaps and coaching engineers at the facilities. Foster a team approach to solving problems that impact multiple sites.
Identify and remove barriers that prevent our division from executing the analytical strategy
Standardize data assets across the division to lower the barrier for entry for analytical projects and allow our plants to quickly identify problems as they arise
Coach, support, and train analytics users throughout the division and provide advanced technical support where required

BS Degree in an Engineering discipline or other four-year degree with strong math and statistical courses required, or equivalent level of applicable experience
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Proactive, self-motivated, well organized with strong interpersonal skills
Experience with or willingness to learn tools such as Splunk, Tableau, etc
Must be able to communicate effectively, work well with all levels of leadership, and work independently
Experience with or willingness to learn and use coding languages such as SQL, Python, etc
Must be goal-oriented, capable of leading indirectly and directly, and driven to make process improvements
Black Belt Training is encouraged
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
