JOB SUMMARY: 


We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Mechanical/Plumbing to install, maintain and repair mechanical and plumbing equipment including mechanical heating & cooling systems, domestic water, and waste water, as well as hydronic and other mechanical systems. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Maximize the efficiency of hydronic equipment, ensuring the optimal function of the systems throughout our respective buildings.
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, clean, adjust and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Perform warranty services and emergency repairs on all plumbing and mechanical systems. 
  • Participate and oversee installations. 
  • Apply local building codes in a practical manner to each job.
  • Provide technical support in the field.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop protocols that are responsive to needs. 
  • Layout, design, and install low-voltage wiring and install energy efficient controls.
  • Run after-hours calls as required.
  • Assist with reasonable requests from management and all other duties as assigned.


Requirements

 WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Advanced knowledge of plumbing, hydronic, and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Working knowledge of commercial boiler systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and work plans.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and balancing water treatment systems in accordance with established protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a mechanical or plumbing technician, with a commitment to continued professional growth in the trade.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely work in confined spaces and other physically demanding environments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs as needed.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
