Shift Available: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversight of shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy of counts and documentation, and resolving any discrepancies
- Routing documentation to the proper recordkeeping unit
- Maintaining accuracy, control, and organization of the warehouse
- Assisting with loading/unloading trucks and stocking products
- Identifying and implementing areas for Lean improvement
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail and effective time management
- Ability to work within a team to enhance business systems
- Accountability for maintaining a safe work environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of customer service
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Required: High School degree or equivalent
- Required: Ability to perform heavy work and lift up to 50 pounds
- Required: Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Preferred: Experience operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift
- Preferred: Experience with shipping/receiving operations
- A Plus: Experience with Printing
- A Plus: Experience working with lean manufacturing
Salary and Benefits:
Compensation will be based on the skills and experiences you bring to Smyth Companies. Our full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, life insurance, and more.
Starting Wage: $18-$20+ per hour
