Comprising over 125 personnel, SPA's Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), as well as clients in PEO Ships, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). Responsibilities We are seeking a Graphic Design Specialist to support NAVSEA from SPA's office in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will provide graphic design support to the strategic communication efforts of multiple Navy customers including, but not limited to PEO IWS Front Office and Directorates. Specific duties include: Developing graphics for strategic communication deliverables, coordinating across stakeholder communication activities, and proactively addressing client requests. Participating in project teams supporting high-profile or complex projects, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Researching, interpretingg, implementing, and adhering to company and customer style guides, policies, and guidelines. DC Pay Transparency Range: $105k-$110k Qualifications Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in graphic design Proficiency in written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail Ability to take abstract, complex concepts and apply creativity and artistic talent to create visually appealing and easily understandable graphics Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software applications Ability to provide representative samples of work product from portfolio Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment Experience in public affairs, congressional relations, or supporting government clients Experience with, and knowledge of, Navy program office organizations and processes
