Comprising over 125 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), as well as clients in PEO Ships, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to support NAVSEA from SPA's office in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will support the Strategic Communications team across multiple NAVSEA customers including, but not limited to, PEO IWS Front Office and Directorates. Specific responsibilities will include developing strategic communications plans, coordinating across US Navy and partner communication plans, advising leadership on engagement strategies, and proactively addressing public concerns. This is a high-visibility position expected to brief leadership and assist the program in maintaining messaging discipline. DC Pay Transparency Range: $165k-$180k Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 15+ years of experience in strategic communications Experience in either public or congressional affairs within a Government organization Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint, to communicate to decision makers Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Defense Acquisition System DoD 5000 series and Navy or DoD program planning Experience with international programs Experience with, and knowledge of, Navy program office organizations and processes
