Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of risk management experience.
- DoD TOP SECRET clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain clearance (must be U.S. Citizen).
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Background in NWS systems and processes.
- Certification in risk management, such as PMI Risk Management Professional.
- Program management experience.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide expert risk management support to the US Navy's Strategic Systems Programs' (SSP) Nuclear Weapons Surety (NWS) Acquisition and Operations Branch. Responsibilities include: risk, issue, and opportunity management processing; coordination and integration with other risk managers to ensure alignment and consistency with Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and SSP command practices; identification of risks, issues, and opportunities; development of integrated mitigation/optimization strategies; and risk management database maintenance.
