Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or similar field
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience, particularly in the area of DoD engineering or programmatic support, Foreign Military Sales, Technology Transfer, and Information Releasability
  • Possess or meet eligibility for DOD SECRET security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant Program Office experience
  • Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or similar field


Responsibilities

You will serve as a full-time support to the PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate in the areas of Foreign Military Sales, Technology Transfer, and Releasability.  You will work alongside programmatic and technical experts within PEO IWS 2.0 program office and their PEO IWS 2.0 radar, electronic warfare, electro-optical, and directed energy systems to provide FMS liaison support coordinating closely with stakeholders from combat systems and ship platforms.  Role will also involve assisting Principal Assistant Program Managers (PAPMs) and Assistant Program Managers (APMs) in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.

 

A hybrid work environment is acceptable, however you must have the ability to work regularly in the vicinity of the Washington Navy Yard area and travel ~5% of the time.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Range:  $135k – $150k.
