The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. The position is in support of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Launcher (SP22) branch. Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) is seeking a Technical Program Analyst to join our Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG), supporting the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). This position provides support to the Launcher Branch (SP22) of SSP and will be focused on supporting the preparation and execution of the installation and testing of SP22 equipment within the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) of COLUMBIA class submarines and the U.S. Build Yard. This position will be based in Washington, D.C at the Washington Navy Yard with regular travel to Groton, CT (some travel could be for an extended duration – 7 to 10 days in length). Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington D.C. Pay Transparency Range: $110,000 - $140,000/year. Responsibilities The TPA's responsibilities will include: Helping ensure branch readiness for key construction evolutions, to include tracking entry and exit criteria, driving the resolution of action items, participating in program reviews and working-level meetings, and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and issue resolution. Interfacing with industry partners to ensure requirements are understood, issues are addressed and elevated as appropriate, and that schedule milestones continue can be met. Interfacing with SP22 and SSP leadership to keep communicate program status, to include developing briefing materials and participating in both in-person and virtual meetings. Assisting with the management of construction-related support equipment. Assisting with the resolution of constructed-related issues. Assisting with the resolution of documentation-related issues. Contributing to the development of risks and schedules related to SP22 equities in the CMC program. The specific duties and responsibilities outlined above are subject to change based on the evolving needs of the program. Any significant changes will be communicated and discussed prior to the employee's start date. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Active DoD SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET strongly preferred) 3-5 years of experience with Department of Defense weapon system acquisition or Navy operational experience, related to Navy submarine systems, Strategic Weapon System (SWS) integration, or new construction/shipyard programs. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute workload to meet requirements and deadlines across multiple projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing senior leader briefings and participating in program reviews. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project) and Confluence/Jira Desired Qualifications: Master's degree. Prior SSP or NAVSEA experience, ideally in a new construction capacity.
