This position is offering a $3000 bonus

Location: Dorchester, MA. All male adolescent detention facility with the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. 
Pay rate: Licensed LICSW $80,000-$85,000/annually and Unlicensed $67,000/annually 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. They can be either licensed or licensed eligible for an LICSW or LMHC track

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical / Counseling, Psychology or related field required.
• Professional Licensure required (LMHC/LISW) 
• Minimum of two years field experience required.
• Demonstrated direct experience with youth counseling and/or assessments. 
• Highly developed clinical skills including assessment and diagnostic skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.

The Clinical Director:

• Primary role is to write and produce a comprehensive assessment document on a newly committed youth. A clinical assessment includes utilization of various screening tools to measure risk, needs, trauma, youth and parent/guardian information for determining service needs, and the most appropriate level of care for the youth's initial residential or community placement.
• Maintains a caseload of newly committed youth within the assigned region. The clinical Director will coordinate with health, education, clinical, caseworks, parents';/guardians, etc., as part of the DYS assessment process.
• Will consult and participate in treatment or review meetings when appropriate.
