Director-Level Hands-on Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director-Level Hands-on Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the technical aspects of our projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core Java and Spring Boot, as well as additional skills in Kubernetes, cloud native technologies, and an understanding of the 12 factor app methodology. Experience in the fund services and private markets space is ideal, but not a limiting requirement.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for the development and implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, Fund Accounting, Sales, and Technology, to drive successful outcomes.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
- Identify and implement best practices for software development, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption where applicable.
What You Will Bring:
- Extensive experience in core Java and Spring Boot, with a strong track record of developing robust and scalable applications.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud native technologies, with a demonstrated ability to design and deploy applications in containerized environments.
- Familiarity with the 12 factor app methodology and its application in building modern, cloud-native software systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across multiple groups.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards shared goals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

NJ: Salary range for the position: 180,000 USD to 195,000 USD.
