Title: Sales Enablement Support Specialist: Proposal & Presentation Writer

Locations: New York City | Hybrid

Role Overview:

We're looking for an early-career writer to join the Alternatives Solutions Team within SS&C's GlobeOp Fund Administration business unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their writing and project coordination skills in a dynamic financial technology environment.

As a Sales Enablement Support Specialist: Proposal & Presentation Writer, you'll:

  • Craft and refine content: Ensure our proposals have a consistent tone, align strategically with RFP requirements, and incorporate approved company language.
  • Manage content libraries: Build and maintain a robust database of past responses, ensuring accuracy and ongoing validation for future use.
  • Coordinate proposal workflows: Follow up with team members to gather feedback and revisions, keep proposal development on track and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts: Work with internal stakeholders to keep all data and responses current, ensuring they're ready for future questionnaires and client needs.
  • Become a product expert: Develop a deep understanding of SS&C's Fund Administration Solutions, Operations Services, and cutting-edge technology.
  • Design impactful presentations: Utilize advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills to update, format, and enhance critical marketing materials and presentations for prospective clients and existing partners.
  • Ensure brand consistency & accuracy: Guarantee presentations tell a clear, logical story, are visually appealing, adhere to brand guidelines, and accurately reflect all data.

Qualifications:

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of corporate work experience, ideally as a recent college graduate.
  • Proven experience in RFP writing, specifically within financial services.
  • Exceptional writing and editing abilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, enabling you to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A self-starter with demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a broader team.
  • A thoughtful colleague with strong interpersonal skills, capable of partnering effectively with Sales, Senior Executives and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Knowledge of and passion for alternative investments/private markets is highly desirable, or a demonstrated ability to learn complex financial concepts quickly.
  • Ability to think creatively, conceptually, and strategically to develop impactful content.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-jurisdictional support and occasional off-business-hour engagement to support global sales initiatives.
  • Experience with software apps Loopio, Qvidian, or Response (RFPIO) is a plus.

Note - This not a sales/client-facing role nor a technology/programming role. It is a hybrid role where you will work 6 days in the NYC office monthly. There is no corporate travel involved.

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 95,000 +B onus USD to 110,000 + Bonus USD.
