What You Will Get To Do:

The Senior Director, Asset Servicing, Fund Accounting is accountable for the strategic leadership, governance, performance and continuous improvement of Asset Servicing and Fund Accounting functions. The role provides end-to-end oversight of core operational activities across the investment lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of accurate, efficient, scalable and compliant services to clients and stakeholders.

The role is responsible for defining and executing a multi-year operational strategy focused on transformation, automation, digitisation and process optimisation. By leveraging emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and workflow automation, the Senior Director will drive operational excellence, enhance client outcomes, reduce risk and deliver sustainable efficiencies across the organisation.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the Senior Director will lead significant change initiatives, shape future operating models and ensure operational capabilities remain aligned to business growth, regulatory requirements and evolving market demands.

Asset Servicing & Fund Accounting Leadership

• Provide strategic leadership across Asset Servicing and Fund Accounting functions.
• Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all operational, servicing and fund accounting activities.
• Maintain robust governance, control and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee fund valuation, NAV production, pricing controls and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure operational resilience and service quality across all functions.
• Lead relationships with key clients, regulators, auditors, custodians and third-party providers.
• Sponsor and oversee fund launches, restructures, migrations and complex operational events.

Transformation, Automation & Innovation

• Develop and execute a strategic transformation roadmap across Asset Servicing and Fund Accounting.
• Lead automation initiatives aimed at reducing manual intervention, improving productivity and enhancing operational controls.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, workflow automation and advanced data analytics.
• Simplify operating models and processes to improve scalability, efficiency and service delivery.
• Deliver measurable operational efficiencies, cost savings and productivity improvements.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.
• Identify and implement opportunities for straight-through processing and increased automation across the investment lifecycle.

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

• Ensure effective oversight of operational risk, controls and regulatory obligations.
• Drive process standardisation, quality improvement and service performance.
• Develop and monitor key operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Lead operational resilience planning and business continuity preparedness.
• Ensure compliance with all internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Strategic Influence

• Lead and develop high-performing operational and functional leadership teams.
• Shape future operating models to support business growth and strategic priorities.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Finance, Risk and Change teams to deliver strategic objectives.
• Develop business cases supporting investment in technology, automation and transformation initiatives.
• Represent the function at Executive, Board and Client Governance forums as required.

What You Will Bring:

• Significant senior leadership experience within Asset Servicing, Fund Administration or Fund Accounting environments.
• Deep understanding of fund accounting, NAV production, valuation controls and operational governance.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation, automation and operational excellence programmes.
• Experience delivering measurable cost efficiencies and service improvements through technology and process optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory environments and operational risk management.
• Demonstrated success leading large, multi-disciplinary teams through periods of growth and change.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving strategic organisational outcomes.
