Tax Operations - Associate
Office Location - Goregaon
Role Overview
· The Staff Accountant – Corporate Tax will assist in executing back office and other administrative activities within the tax compliance function for multiple entities including, but not limited to, gathering and reconciling financial and business data in order to ensure timely and accurate reporting as well as assisting the Tax team with various tax related requests.
Responsibilities
· Assistance with analysis of financial information each month in relation to indirect tax
· Timely review of expiring sales tax exemption certificate reports
· Reconciliation of fixed asset data and population of property tax reporting templates
· Collection of information needed to support unclaimed property reporting
· Pulling invoice documentation for indirect tax reporting purposes
· Assistance with the preparation of various tax forms
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
· Relevant experience in tax preferred
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel skills (functions, pivot tables)
· At ease communicating in English both in writing and orally
· Excellent organization skills, ability to work in a team with deadlines on multiple projects
