Summary of the opportunity

This is an exciting time to join SS&C Blue Prism. Over the last 6 months, our portfolio has evolved into an enterprise agentic AI solutions provider. We are looking for someone who can take this proposition forward in the ANZ market with impact and urgency.

The VP of Sales, ANZ will provide sales and business development leadership and define the overall strategic approach for ANZ market growth. He/ She will inherit a successful sales team and will build on the success and strong growth in the ANZ region. This includes ownership of the go-to-market strategy, gaining alignment across direct and indirect teams, building and developing great talent, and excellence in sales execution.

The SS&C Blue Prism model is highly customer-centric with ‘strategic adoption', i.e. upselling from initial investment, being a key part of the business model. Our technology is proven and across a market that is open for its adoption. Enterprise AI is one of fastest growing enterprise software category with high potential to be utilized across large enterprises in Australia and New Zealand – simply because the possibilities are endless!  Our larger clients are only at 10% of their requirement.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Lead a team of Client and Partner Sales reps and Solution Consultants to exceed Sales Revenue, Market Penetration and Customer Satisfaction goals.
  • Scale enterprise-wide adoption of portfolio amongst existing customers and increase win-rates on strategic prospects.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy to expand coverage across the large addressable market enabled by an expanded product portfolio – Agents, AI Gateway, Intelligent Automation, BPM, Process Intelligence, IDP, etc.
  • Provide executive cover to complement Client and Partner Sales team's business and account development pursuits and large/ complex deals.
  • Have a ruthless focus on results - pipeline generation, accurate forecasting and meticulous sales cadence to deliver revenue growth.
  • Develop key performance goals and take primary ownership of maintaining team morale and a progressive, inclusive and connected culture. This includes motivating individuals, fostering their career development and training to enhance their skills to achieve their potential.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to successfully execute on plan.
  • Influence and manage interdependencies in a matrixed organisation and align local market priorities to global direction and vision.
  • Prepare and present an annual business plan and provide outcomes and updates to the plan during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Maintain and upgrade professional and technical knowledge by successfully completing product, sales and compliance training required to effectively execute on responsibilities.
  • Represent SS&C Blue Prism, as required, in trade shows, industry, and customer events.
  • Must be able to travel 30% both domestic and international.

What You Will Bring:

  • We are seeking a seasoned and experienced leader of Sales who is first and foremost a “player-manager” with high-energy, self-motivation and personality, to represent SS&C Blue Prism.
  • 15+ years' experience in ‘enterprise' software sales, of which at least 5 years successfully leading a nationwide sales team on major accounts in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Must have proven experience of performance managing, growing, and building on successful teams.
  • Has a network of senior relationships in major enterprises in Australia.
  • Has led hyper-growth in enterprise software companies with an excellent understanding of complex solution sales cycles and enabling successful solution selling.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Capable of thinking beyond quarterly results without sacrificing a sense of urgency.

How success will be measured for this role

  • Growth in ANZ book of business (ARR) across portfolio (minimum expectation low double-digit ARR growth)
  • Growth in recurring customer base across Australia and New Zealand (New logos + Retention)
  • Sales team members delivering 100%+ quota (minimum expectation 30% of team)
  • Planning and execution - accuracy of quarterly forecast and velocity of pipeline development
