St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, a community-based academic teaching hospital and a major affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to fill a clinician-educator position. Our physicians are dedicated to providing a full array of treatments and care for our patients and offer everything from basic pulmonary function tests to the most advanced interventional procedures. The position offers an opportunity for participation in our Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship program's leadership. The ideal candidate will be suitable for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, and will have demonstrated a track record of excellence in patient care, and experience as an educator in academic settings to students, residents, and fellows.
This is a full-time position with leadership opportunities for qualified individuals. Physician candidates should be comfortable and flexible in providing care across multiple settings and locations, including outpatient clinic, the ICU, inpatient pulmonary care, and eICU. Responsibilities include:
- Associate Director of Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship program
- 10 weeks on ICU service - 10 weekends / year in ICU
- 1 week/month of inpatient consults - 2 weeks/months in pulmonary clinic
- Twelve 12-hour eICU shifts/year
Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
