POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President (VP) of Support Services provides strategic and operational leadership for all support functions across TerraBella communities, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and high resident satisfaction. This role oversees functional areas including dining, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and life enrichment, partnering closely with community leadership to align service delivery with corporate standards, budget goals, and the company mission.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Operational Leadership: Direct all Support Services departments, establishing standards, SOPs, and measurable KPIs.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure communities comply with safety, sanitation, and state/local regulations.
  • Performance Management: Monitor efficiency, costs, and customer service scores to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategic Growth: Partners with leadership to support transitions of new communities into TerraBella's portfolio, driving cultural and procedural alignment.
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage operating budgets, identifying cost-saving and productivity initiatives.
  • Team Development: Coach regional and community-level leaders to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with HR, Finance, and Procurement to align service delivery, staffing levels, and vendor performance.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations or support services within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
  • Proven record improving operational efficiency and service quality across multi-site portfolios.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
