The Fiji Program Support Facility (the Facility) was established in 2017 to support and implement Australia's aid programs such as health, education, Australia Awards and governance in Fiji. The Facility also supports the Australia Awards and education programs in Tuvalu. The Facility integrates cross-cutting themes, including gender equality, disability inclusion, climate change, emergency preparedness and response and civil society engagement, across sectoral programs. In particular, the Facility seeks to strengthen program outcomes by better addressing the needs of targeted beneficiaries including those who are often marginalised.
The Institutional Partnerships Program (IPP) partners with the Government of Fiji to deliver assistance in targeted areas where Australia is well placed to support Fiji navigate the economic impact of COVID-19: through government twinning partnerships, technical assistance and grants that can be mobilised quickly to support Fiji's ongoing stability, prosperity and resilience to shocks. The Fijian Government views an effective and accountable public sector as vital to its goal of a prosperous and stable country.
As part of its portfolio of work, the Facility administers a fund, on behalf of the Australian Government, to rapidly mobilise local and international experts to support the implementation of Fiji's priority policies and reforms in agreed areas, including public sector performance, governance and economic recovery and growth.
The Program Coordinator– IPP (Program Coordinator) will support the Program Manager to implement IPP activities in partnership with the Ministry of Civil Service and the Ministry of Economy to achieve their goals and objectives, demonstrating high-quality results and sustainable impact. The Program Coordinator will support the effective delivery of the program according to work plans, budgets, and overarching program goals. To achieve this, the Program Coordinator will maintain working relationships with IPP technical advisors, partner ministries staff and DFAT staff at an operational level and, work closely with the Facility Management Unit's HR, finance, procurement, administration, logistics and HSS teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree qualification in business administration, project management or related field with at least five (5) years of experience management and administration of projects. They will demonstrate knowledge and experience in financial management, administering quality management systems, purchasing and procurement, contract administration and reporting.
The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintaining project management systems. Demonstrated ability to support monitoring and evaluation of program activities is desirable.
Experience in integrating gender equality, disability and social inclusion across activities is an added advantage.
We seek a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to quickly build and maintain strong relationships with people from varying backgrounds, levels and experience.
This position is locally engaged and open to Fijian citizens only.
