The Position
ECS are looking for a Commissioning Manager to join their Sydney team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight for commissioning management of the installation, testing and commissioning of building services systems, plant and/or equipment across multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare commissioning plans and other process documents, for the management of the commissioning of building services systems, including (but not limited to) mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire and BMCS systems.
- Review services design and intent and advise design teams on items that may affect commissioning and interpret and prepare commissioning programs.
- Work with a variety of stakeholders including clients, design teams, contractors.
- Project management activities including job costing, creation of work schedules and workload management.
- Assisting with business development activities, supporting the development and growth of ECS.
Who we're looking for
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Engineering experience across the project lifecycle, with well-developed understanding of project stages and delivery methods.
- Previous experience delivering construction projects through commissioning, acceptance and into occupation.
- Demonstrated communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high-level judgement and to work independently to meet objectives.
- Understanding of the requirements and intent of the CIBSE Commissioning Codes, BSRIA Application Guides, ASHRAE Guidelines, and other relevant commissioning codes and guidelines.
- Understanding of the process and relevant criteria required to achieve all relevant Green Star credit points.
