Tetra Tech's Disaster Recovery Unit is now accepting applications for Field Biologists. Field Biologists will support Tetra Tech field projects based in northern California. Field Biologists will support the field project team with recommend environmental/historical best management practices (BMPs) to protect pre-determined areas from negative impacts. Biologist may also be required to assess best management practices related to field work in or around threatened or endangered species habitat.
- Work in diverse natural environments.
- Collecting data and analyze it.
- Spend extended periods of time outdoors.
- Field biologists must also be organized, precise and honest with the data they record in order to achieve accurate and reliable research results.
• Biology degree with field or wildlife experience
• Ability to work up to 6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day, outdoors
• Must have valid driver license and good driving record
• Biologist who specialize in aviary and amphibian species is a plus
