We are seeking a Transportation Project Manager to carry out diverse transportation assignments.  This individual will be responsible for creating plans and reports for transportation projects in accordance with established engineering standards, as well as local, state, and/or federal policies and requirements. 

 

Your Role: 

·         Manage design plans for ODOT, OTA, and urban projects 

·         Issue change orders, pay estimates, final estimate, audit, and close out. 

·         Produce design plans to meet OTOT and OTA standards and specifications 

·         Provide summaries of quantities and pay items/notes for highway projects 

·         Prepare cost estimates and engineering reports  

·         Design horizontal/vertical alignment and produce 3D modeling utilizing MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads software 

·         Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients 

·         Collaborate with Department Manager to assess project requirements, determine scope, budget and staffing needs, and review work of project design team. 

·         Act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and technicians; manage and mentor staff 

·         Acquire new projects from existing and potential clients  

 

 

Qualifications: 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, required 

·         Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma required 

·         5+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience with ODOT and OTA projects 

·         Familiarity with relevant transportation engineering codes and industry standards 

·         Knowledge of MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads software 

·         Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record, traveling to the project site is a requirement
