The Opportunity:

 Tetra Tech is adding a Work Order Manager to our Base Operations Support team Pueblo, Colorado. This position will manage work orders and prepare reports using U.S Army systems.

Responsibilities:

•    For the Department of Public Works (DPW) create, assign and close work orders and prepare monthly Work Order Reports
•    Create Government Purchase Cards (GPCs) and create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) In General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
•    Perform entries and updates in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
•    Coordinate, prioritize and monitor Technicians' work duties; prepare and monitor training schedules
•    Monitor and update the Official Bulletin Board
•    Perform updates to Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) for Government employees to record, manage and certify the work hours
•    Prepare, maintain and update various spreadsheets in accordance with the requirements of Defense Finance Accounting System (DFAS)
•    Provide information and assist in the preparation of presentations to command staff and Army Headquarters. 
•    Provide support to DPW staff
 

 

 Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. •    Associates Degree required, degree in data processing/management preferred 
•    5 years of hands-on experience with GFEBS, DPAS, ATAAPS and DFAS systems, required 
•    Ability to retrieve and organize information into clear and concise presentations. 
•    Knowledge of public works activities preferred

This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
 

If this position requires a CAC card, CUI Enclave Access and/or a Security Clearance, a background check will be completed.

Candidate must be able to:  Perform field investigation and construction oversight that could potentially require the following: Performing strenuous fieldwork under a variety of site and adverse weather conditions; standing, crouching and sitting to facilitate operation of the equipment and collecting samples; moving earth via shovels or hand augers; lifting of pumps, other remediation equipment, cases containing equipment, sample coolers and other items weighing between 1 and 50 pounds; and potential exposure to natural (e.g., poison ivy), physical and chemical hazards.

The work environment is typical of office work. May require long periods of sitting and computer work. This position may accompany the real property manager on on-site building inspections, requiring walking in outdoor conditions. 
Language & Communication Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills is required.  Must fluent in the English language – writing and speaking. Experience in data collection and presentation preparation is preferred.


Other Skills: The candidate should be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with site personnel, maintenance staff, and command staff. Candidate must be well organized and have an upbeat, teamwork oriented approach to assisting others.
