Performs all duties and responsibilities involved in polysomnography services including collecting, analyzing, scoring, monitoring and recording physiological data. The Implementation of any type of polysomnographic physiologic non-invasive monitoring including continuous positive airway pressure and bi-level positive airway pressure including supplemental oxygen.
Education of patients, family and the public concerning the procedures and treatments used during polysomnographic technology or concerning any equipment or procedure used for the treatment of any sleep disorder.
Qualifications: •Licensed by NYS in Polysomnography. •Registered RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist ) •BLS certification required.
Education: •Associates Degree in Polysomnography or Respiratory therapy
Experience: •1 year relevant experience in a health care setting.
