THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE 

 

The Sr. Analyst, Personalization is responsible for supporting strategies and tactics for leveraging customer data collected through the loyalty program, Ulta Rewards, to deliver personalized, relevant journeys across all channels that drive customer lifetime value and foster long-term loyalty. This role will serve as a subject matter expert to the business and their partners, collaborating cross-functionally to execute the personalization strategy.   This role supports customer journey mapping and use case activation activities.

 

YOULL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Partner with the Personalization business pod to support the ideation, definition, and execution of customer journeys, contributing analytical and executional inputs to forward‑thinking personalization efforts.
  • Support delivery of member KPIs (retention, active membership, sales per member, and purchase frequency) by leveraging customer data and marketing technology to help execute personalization strategies across marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple disciplines to support the execution of customer journeys that include personalized content and offers across channels such as email, digital, website, paid media, mobile app, SMS, and print.
  • Craft clear, concise creative briefs that outline multi-channel needs, including objectives, audience, messaging to support use case creative inputs needed.
  • Track and maintain campaign performance reporting to help evaluate the effectiveness of use cases, enabling optimization of marketing productivity and informing future growth strategies.
  • Support the development and maintenance of personalization roadmaps by contributing insights, analysis, and executional inputs that increase the relevance of customer communications.
  • Assist in mitigating financial and guest experience risk by following established QC protocols and proactively supporting communication with operational teams.
  • Contribute to ongoing optimization of personalization strategies by identifying opportunities aligned with program goals and sharing insights informed by competitive intelligence and industry trends.

THE ESSENTIALS OF SUCCESS 

 

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Marketing.
  • 4+ years of related work experience of progressively responsible marketing experience; strong marketing discipline and understanding of customer loyalty and personalization execution. 
  • Proficiency in Figma to design and map end-to-end customer journeys and trigger-based experiences, clearly outlining audience criteria, entry/exit rules, decision splits, timing logic, channel sequencing, messaging hierarchy, and suppression rules.
  • Demonstrated experience as a business user of Adobe products, including Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Target.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including building and maintaining pivot tables, managing datasets, and compiling clear, accurate reports.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, visually compelling presentations that translate use case strategy to effectively share them with Personalization business pod.
  • Skilled in using Monday.com to input and track detailed use cases, ensuring accurate documentation and visibility for cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment where cross functional collaboration thrives
  • This position will be based in ULTA corporate headquarters, a professional, fast-paced, collaborative office environment

The pay range for this position is $77,600.00 - $110,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
