THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

 

The Senior Manager, S&OP will work closely with the Director of S&OP to provide strategic direction and leadership across all aspects of Supply Chain activities while ensuring enterprise goals and timelines are met. The Senior Manager fosters a partnership approach to working with other teams across the enterprise and key business stakeholders. Strong cross-functional collaboration is critical when partnering with Store Operations, Business Continuity and LP, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning & Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Communications, field teams and external partners on continuous improvement projects. Additionally, this leader will govern processes related to key events to include Holiday planning and execution and critical enterprise promotional activities (i.e. 21 Days of Beauty) and supply chain initiatives (i.e. DC-store rebalance). This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and enterprise leaders (Managers, Directors, and VPs) to strategically create contingency plans for holiday and ensure business continuity plans are developed, communicated and in action. The Senior Manager will also influence key partners and impact Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in our DCs to ensure capacity limitations are not at threshold and volume projections can support sales. This position is fully engaged with and informed of the enterprise strategic, financial, and operational objectives to inform decision makers of trade-off impacts and ensure alignment to the near-term and mid-range plans.

 

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

 

  • Collaborating with leaders (Supervisors, Managers, Directors, VPs) cross functionally to influence and drive targeted supply chain decisions. Lead initiatives associated with new store growth and DC support, network expansion expedites and product disposition, retrofit and other strategic imperatives.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of cost to serve tools and provide enterprise level analysis to inform decision making related to Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Developing and govern capacity management visibility tools to outline key performance metrics related to current building storage capacity, expected SKU growth and introduction timelines, projected SKU deactivation and exit timelines, and risks/opportunities.
  • Leading the enterprise Holiday Readiness Team by managing 250+ tasks, aligning cross-functional teams on event planning and execution, and escalating issues with recommended resolution.
  • Providing monthly updates to senior leadership (Directors and VPs) and manage holiday execution during peak season.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives and resolve operational roadblocks by assembling teams of key cross-functional stakeholders, providing the forum for coordination, and facilitating the development of corrective solutions. Accountable for monitoring completion of action items and communicating issues and results to senior leadership teams.
  • Influencing decisions related to end of lifecycle activities for saleable and non-saleable product and utilize cross-functional partners to implement strategic change with fixture flow, PLM and DC supplies.
  • Providing recommendations and trade-offs with confidence and communicate these to sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Delivering and govern business continuity planning and operations for Supply Chain team. Single point of contact for Supply Chain during All Hands Calls and follow through with an action and communication plan for key partners.
  • Promoting and develop a continuous improvement culture by eliminating non-value-added activities and advocating an integrated process approach to avoid duplication of efforts in our day-to-day work.
  • Leading the development, management and maintenance of an issue escalation process for supply chain across the enterprise. Ensures that issues are resolved in a timely manner with the appropriate level of quality based on operational constraints.
  • Managing the store field communication process by partnering with the Enterprise Communications Department and Store Operations on select store communications, news releases, FAQ documents, AIM (Activity Information Manager) tasks, DM (District Manager) recaps, weekly operations updates, and store best practice documents related to supply chain activities.
  • Coaching and support team members in use of tools and methodologies and process improvement.
  • Leading rebalance execution semi-annually by managing 11-week timeline with cross-functional project team and reporting out monthly to senior leadership.
  • Managing the development and documentation of key business practices leveraged by the S&OP team.

 

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 8-10 years supply chain experience with a focus on operations and team leadership. Retail supply chain experience a plus.
  • Strong supply chain background with leadership roles across supply chain disciplines (preferably field and corporate).
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent, managing performance and building high performing teams
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully develop and execute against departmental goals with minimal guidance.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to manage and drive accountability across the supply chain.
  • Strategic thought leader able to build robust plans and execute with speed, while communicating clear priorities.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across functions and influence decisions related Supply Chain Operations
  • Ability to speak, work with, and present to large and diverse audiences.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to successfully lead in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business situations and problems, coordinate many complex activities/projects simultaneously and direct successful solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge in SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project PowerPoint), and Tableau or other visualization solutions is a plus.
  • Good understanding of warehousing and physical distribution concepts.
  • Ability to travel as required.

The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $163,500.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
