A well-established Urology Practice in Upstate New York is seeking both experienced and new graduate Physician Assistants to join our focused, collaborative environment. UHS Urology is part of a community-based system.
Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services employs more than 6,000 people. As a teaching hospital, affiliated with the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, United Health Services trains over 75 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.
As a part of this team, you can expect to provide health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of physician. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Record physical findings, and formulate plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discuss cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment. We are seeking graduates of an accredited physician assistant program. Current certificate of registration from the NCCPA. NYS Physician Assistant license.
