$51,600.00 - $59,000.00 (Annual Salary) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $51,600.00 - $87,400.00 (Annual Salary)

- Experience supervising and evaluating custodial staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
- Bloodborne pathogens and sharps disposal training.
- Working knowledge in custodial and housekeeping services.
- Verbal and written communication skills in the English language, active listening, flexibility, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and time management.
- Working knowledge of and ability for decision making, reasoning, ability to develop original ideas to solve problems, and perform operations analysis, and quality control analysis.
- Working knowledge and skill in effective interpersonal and work leadership skills to provide guidance to other personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team as well as participate as a team player.
- Basic computer application skills. Organizational skills, and independence in completing detailed tasks.
- Ability to maintain diplomacy in difficult situations and maintain confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of custodial equipment and chemicals, institutional furnishings, floor coverings, and window treatments.
- Leadership and communication skills, Skill in hiring selection, promotion and decisions concerning corrective actions.
- Ability to coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and coordinate rapid and complex turnovers.
- Knowledge to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge in purchasing, inventory control, and reporting damages.
- Ability to speak/translate Spanish. Knowledge of floor, carpet, drapery and upholstery care and maintenance.
- Must be available for some overtime and weekend work.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing for the purpose of instructions and record keeping.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
