Description

The Data Management Specialist for the JSOM Career Management Center (CMC) will be responsible for providing administrative support in regards to daily, weekly, monthly and semester metrics, CPT internship data, and working with students looking for internships for the Career Management Center. Responsibilities will include entering data, verifying information, running reports and compiling metrics.

Position will work closely with the Assistant Dean, Employer Relations Team and Career Development Specialist Team to ensure that all reports are accurate. As part of the CMC team, the role will support other student and event activity in the Career Management Center as required.

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of work experience.

Knowledge and proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and with extracting data from other databases. Some knowledge of CRM/Salesforce is desired. Able to organize and complete tasks with close attention to detail in a fast paced environment. Highly professional, with ethical standards for handling confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interact with tact with faculty and students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling data for International Student interested in CPT opportunities and working with Graduate Level Program Directors
  • Responsible for compiling data from Handshake (Career Portal), running reports and distributing to CMC team
  • Responsible for compiling data from Salesforce (CRM tracking tool) on events and entering into JSOM Impact and Engagement reporting
  • Develops and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for workshops, events, and observations for CMC, number of postings, number of employers, and internship/full-time data
  • Participate in the design, deliver, and coordination of internship/career related workshops and programs
  • Perform other Duties Assigned

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
