Description

A laboratory technician position is available for research aimed at understanding the mechanisms and treatments of chronic pain in preclinical models. The applicant should have experience with rodent handling/behavioral tests, immunochemistry, and/or microscopy.

Minimum Education and Experience

Associate degree with a minimum of two years hands on experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Run experiments under the supervision of the PI
  • Provide technical support for the laboratory
  • Responsible for the documentation & maintenance of lab equipment procedures
  • Manage rodent colonies
