The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Workplace Giving Coordinator supports the Corporate Partnerships team in their efforts to generate revenue in support of WWP programs and services specifically through our Workplace Giving (WPG) initiatives. This position supports existing corporate donors with exceptional customer service and stewardship of donors/companies' specific to workplace giving, Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), matching gifts and employee engagement opportunities.


 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as initial point of contact for the Corporate Partnerships WPG team and provide high-level of customer service to corporate donors through phone, mail, email, and in-person engagements. 
  • Effectively communicate to prospective corporate donors, verbally and in writing, ways to support WWP's mission, the impact of their donation, and WWP's history, mission, vision, and programs.
  • Assist the corporate partnerships team by leading stewardship efforts with donors at a certain level, such as thank you phone calls, and hand-written thank you notes.
  • Support the corporate partnerships teams by conducting research and identifying potential giving opportunities through WPG to bolster revenue and enhance awareness of WWP's programs and services.
  • Assist in identifying potential corporate donors within WPG that could transition into becoming corporate partners or sponsors.
  • Oversee CFC/America's Charities campaign renewals, applications, and request.
  • Support the corporate partnerships WPG team by creating, editing, and proofing internal and external communications, including pitch decks and proposals.
  • Provide direct administrative support to corporate partnerships team, such as analyzing weekly reporting or generating reporting to help support corporate WPG relationships.
  • Input data into customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and manage database information.
  • Travel to support corporate partnerships team as needed.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to build rapport via phone and email.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in crafting visually engaging presentations and proposals using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities and complete assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding working environment.
  • Proficient in data monitoring, compilation, and analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Confident communicator, with ability to present information effectively to large audiences, small groups, and individuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and prioritize.
  • High energy level. Self- starter; willing to take initiative.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence. Ability to respond to sensitive matters with diplomacy and empathy.

EXPERIENCE

Requirements

  • One year of customer service experience in a business or non-profit organization.

Preferences

  • One year of experience in fundraising, Combined Federal Campaign, workplace giving, or donor relations.
  • One year of experience using CRM software.

EDUCATION

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE

  • Valid state-issued driver's license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • General office environment; temperature controlled.

Colorado Applicants:  The estimated hiring range for this position is between $46,099 - $57,624 annual base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.

For San Diego, California and Tacoma, Washington Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $50,489 - $63,112 annual base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.

For New York, New York Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $54,880 - $68,600 annual base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
