Position Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor and strategic collaborator to business leaders, aligning HR practices with organizational goals. The HRBP plays a pivotal role in shaping workforce strategy, driving performance, and enhancing employee experience. By integrating people insights with business acumen, the HRBP influences talent outcomes, supports leadership development, and ensures the business is equipped to meet its short- and long-term objectives.
What you'll do
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with managers, directors, and VPs to align workforce plans with operational goals
- Contribute to strategic planning through data-informed insights and talent implications
- Serve as a sounding board for leadership on organizational changes, culture evolution, and engagement strategies
Performance & Talent Management
- Partner with leaders on identifying high performers, coaching needs, and performance risks
- Guide the development and execution of performance improvement plans
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and internal mobility pipelines
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Interpret engagement and pulse data, identify trends, and develop action plans
- Champion practices that promote inclusion, recognition, and psychological safety
- Act as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing company values in leader and team interactions
Organizational Effectiveness
- Participate in organizational design conversations, role alignment, and structural planning
- Advise on change management and communication strategies during business transformation
- Support cross-functional projects that impact process efficiency or team alignment
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to forecast hiring needs and assess talent gaps
- Support internal movement and development of succession-ready talent
- Monitor retention trends and implement risk mitigation efforts in partnership with leaders
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to policies, labor laws, and regulatory standards
- Coach leaders through sensitive employee relations situations
- Conduct workplace investigations, partnering with Legal or ER teams as needed
Onboarding & Integration
- Collaborate with leaders and HR peers to create seamless onboarding experiences
- Analyze ramp-up trends and feedback to improve early employee experience
- Help ensure new hires quickly feel connected, capable, and confident in their roles
Who you are
Required:
- 3+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a business partner or generalist capacity
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices
- Experience supporting leadership at the manager or director level
- Proficiency with HR systems and reporting tools
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and consulting skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a multi-site, high-growth, or hourly workforce environment
- Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities using workforce data
- Background in change management or organizational development
