A well-respected busy Cardiology/Interventional practice, is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team!

This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Team.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, treatment and support in all aspects of the practice. Participate in practice growth, development and retention. Assist with pre, peri and post procedural care.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engages in direct patient care:
• Performs physical and medical history examinations; makes records of findings subsequently reviewed and/or countersigned by supervising physician;
• Orders and interprets laboratory studies/examinations to determine treatment, orders medication and other forms of treatment as ordered by the physician;
• Follows patient progress and makes changes in treatment as necessary;
• Performs duties as required by supervising physician.
• Superior customer service and "bed side manner" skills.
• Critical thinking, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.

- Current California Physician Assistant license
- Work experience in Cardiovascular Medicine is a plus.

- Able to work independently
- Bilingual and fluent in Spanish a plus!
- Epic EMR a plus!
