Part of the Adventist Health Central Valley Network, Adventist Health Reedley is a 49-bed acute-care hospital with emergency, laboratory, medical imaging services and a Birthing Center with all private rooms and a family-centered environment. Adventist Health Reedley features an emergency department, inpatient and outpatient surgery as well as advanced imaging and lab services.

We're looking for someone to join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Outpatient) who: Maintains responsibility for providing expert clinical care in general or specialty areas. Assesses, plans and provides patient care in collaboration with the attending physician. Provides comprehensive health assessments, performs medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions and formulates treatment plans. Diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions. Assists in medical/surgical care of patients and evaluates responses in collaboration with the attending/consulting physicians.

Essential Functions:

  • Interviews patients, employees and/or family members.
  • Constructs comprehensive medical histories.
  • Performs initial and periodic physical examinations.
  • Evaluates patient behavior and explores patient's interpretation of health needs.
  • Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results.
  • Provides continuity of care including discussing the completion of treatment plans and administration of medications and injections.
  • Follows-up on acute and chronic problems and significant abnormal tests.
  • Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible and up-to-date documentation of patient care.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
  • Master's Degree: Preferred

Work Experience:

  • Two years relevant Pediatric clinical experience: Preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association: Required
  • CA Physician Assistant (PA) License: Required Competitive

Salary Compensation Package (Depends on Experience)

Wage Range: $114,359--$171,538
$5,000 Welcome to the Family Bonus
$15,000 Appreciation Bonus (paid over 3 years)
$1,500/year CEU allowance
$1,500/year for License, DEA, Board Certifications, Associations Fees
$30,000 Student Loan Assistance Program (paid over 5 years)
Patient Visit Bonus: $5/per patient 301-500 and $10/per patient 501+
Malpractice coverage through Adventist Health
Medical, Dental, and Vision through Adventist Health
PTO accrual would reflect years of service
