As a People Solution Coordinator of the Australian region would provide administrative support to the human resources function in support of the business and in the areas of employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, employment status change, new hire orientation, policy and program development, compliance, HR systems, reporting and recordkeeping.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out a wide range of HR related transactional activities including setting up and maintaining personal data.
  • Understand and work according to what has been received through Alcoa's inquiry systems.
  • Working in Hungary with high interaction with the Australian People Services team members to focus & drive efforts on continuous improvement, contributing through suggestions & creativity.
  • Dealing with correspondence, queries, resolving problems and service issues.
  • Assist in on-boarding new colleagues into the People Service teams in Alcoa Shared Services Hungary (assist with process and/or systems training).
  Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel (VLOOKUP).
  • The ability to work accurately with a strong and developed attention to details.
  • Administrative oriented with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of HR administration, including a high volume of accurate database entry and reporting using a computerized HR system, preferably Workday.
