THE ROLE:
The Account Intelligence & Markets (AIM) analyst is primarily responsible for the end customer management in the Greater China region working closely with the Greater China commercial sales team. This role is located within the Center of Excellence - Penang and focuses on researching and processing end customer adds/deletes/merges, ensuring compliance with data standards, and supporting business continuity through clean, reliable customer records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End Customer Management: Research & execute weekly requests for customer creation, updates, and deactivations in SAP MDG and Salesforce, including address changes, sales area assignments, and hierarchy updates.
- Request Intake & Fulfillment: Manage and validate intake queues (e.g., Salesforce Cases, ServiceNow), validate documentation, and complete transactions within defined SLAs.
- Data Validation & Compliance: Ensure all entries meet internal data standards and external compliance requirements. Flag and resolve incomplete or inconsistent requests.
- Hierarchy & Tiering Maintenance: Maintain customer hierarchies, specialty hierarchies (Sales Parent) and parent/child relationships. Support updates related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- System Sync & Monitoring: Monitor data flow between MDG and downstream systems. Troubleshoot sync errors and escalate as needed.
- Documentation & SOPs: Follow and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transactional processes. Support audits with accurate logs and documentation.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with sales, finance, and IT teams to resolve data issues and support business-critical transactions.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2–4 years of experience in a transactional data management or shared services role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MDG and Salesforce.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks with accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working in a COE or global operations environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of Mandarin language optional but preferred.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
