THE ROLE:
The Channel Partner Instructional Designer will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our partner ecosystem. In this highly collaborative role, you will work cross-functionally across business segments within the company to plan and develop online training modules and supporting materials, enabling our channel partners to successfully sell, implement, and support AMD products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of channel partners, how people learn, and experience developing eLearning training. This role will help coordinate, manage, and execute all aspects of producing training materials, including (but not limited to) researching, planning, and designing content. Training content will extend to eLearning modules, videos, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, and printed materials.

The ideal candidate loves the details, has strong instructional design and digital literacy skills, and can work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You are creative, collaborative, and have a passion for developing adult-learning experiences that are engaging, effective, and efficient. You have strong time management and organizational skills and a knack for project management. You're an excellent communicator, writer, media developer, and designer. Attention to detail, flexibility, and problem-solving skills are also important.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop engaging eLearning modules, curriculum, job aids, videos, and other training materials.
- Align content with business objectives and learning goals.
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather source content for training materials.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to create content for channel partner enablement.
- Manage project schedules, including content creation, approvals, and localization.
- Build and maintain online learning modules using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia.
- Act as a learning consultant to connect business needs with effective learning strategies.
- Ensure training materials are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with product and business goals.
- Measure training effectiveness and improve learning experiences.
- Establish standardized metrics and evaluation processes for training initiatives.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
- Channel partner experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with eLearning tools like Articulate 360 and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with AI-based instructional design tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theory.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with audio and video editing is preferred.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
