THE ROLE:
AMD's compensation function provides strategic and operational support to the organization to ensure our employees are engaged and motivated by their rewards offerings. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting operational and administrative compensation work for the North America Compensation Consulting team.
THE PERSON:
The ideal person for this role will have outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to details and strong prioritization skills. You must be a dedicated team player with excellent collaboration skills. A quick learner and desire to grow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the team with managing compensation offers (new hires/counters, etc).
- Participate in salary surveys.
- Support the team with ad-hoc data analysis and audits.
- Support the execution of global compensation programs, including merit, promotion, long-term incentive, bonus cycles, and market pricing.
- Maintain AMD global job library and associated tools and processes.
- Help maintain existing policies, FAQs, and other documentation/ communication on AMD's intranet site.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic to intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Charts).
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- High degree of accuracy.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
