THE ROLE: 

Encompasses a variety of tasks focused on assisting engineers in execution of DOEs, implementing engineering solutions for continuous improvement on Lab equipment, achieving quality and cycle time, to meeting engineering qualification activities schedules.

You are self-motivated, having solid communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.  You are a team player who strives to deliver results. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform electrical testing on packaged silicon devices using detailed test procedures to verify functionality
  • Change hardware and software setups on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testers or bench systems as needed
  • Utilize internal hardware test tools, internal software utilities, and third-party utilities to capture and report failures
  • Communicate test failures to engineering and debug teams for further analysis
  • Record and document test results/data into various databases accurately
  • Complete assigned tests within expected timeframes and according to customer/internal roadmap deadlines
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks under high-pressure situations to meet deadlines

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Solid understanding of semiconductor testing
  • Experience with test tools such as curve tracer, oscilloscope, and data loggers
  • Strong background in handling ESD-sensitive devices
  • Experience using ATE testers such as Agilent, Advantest, or equivalent systems
  • Solid soldering skills
  • Proficient with MS Windows and Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and track many activities
  • Excels at working with minimal supervision and being able to lead others
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • AAS Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or equivalent training and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline
