THE ROLE:

We're seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience in deploying AI-powered and agentic solutions across widely used developer platforms. This role will focus on building, integrating, and scaling custom LLM-based systems that enhance developer productivity and accelerate AI adoption across AMD's engineering ecosystem.

THE PERSON:

The individual is expected to work independently yet collaboratively, be self-motivated, task-oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are detail-oriented; you plan, implement, and evaluate work, and strive to improve with every iteration. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, and deploy LLM-driven and agentic AI solutions directly integrated into developer tools.
• Lead end-to-end engineering efforts — from backend service design and model integration to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Develop frameworks and APIs for AI-assisted code generation, reasoning, and workflow automation.
• Implement observability, analytics, and dashboarding to monitor tool usage, model performance, and developer engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, platform engineers, and product teams to translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into real-world developer experiences.
• Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of deployed solutions across AMD's global developer infrastructure.
• Evaluate and integrate the latest AI developer tools and ecosystems, staying current with emerging LLM frameworks and orchestration patterns.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of combined experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in Python (required) and experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., .NET, Angular, React). 
• Proven experience designing and shipping production-grade, scalable software systems.
• Familiarity with LLM and agentic AI architectures.
• Experience deploying solutions within developer environments (IDEs, extensions, code assistants, or similar platforms).
• Hands-on experience with observability, telemetry, and dashboarding tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills — with the ability to collaborate across AI, infrastructure, and developer experience teams.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
