THE ROLE: 

The role is for a verification engineer to develop test content in Portable Stimulus Standard  for AMD's graphics processor IP.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Understand features of the Graphics IP
• Develop a test plan for the features 
• Develop tests in PSS 
• Port the existing test content to PSS 
• Build the directed and random verification tests 
• Meet the functional and code coverage metrics – modify or add tests or constrain random tests to meet the coverage requirements 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

• 6+ years of experience in digital verification
• 2+ years of experience in PSS 
• Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools  

• Experienced with Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++  
• Graphics pipeline knowledge  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
