THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a proactive Human Resources Manager to support our EMEA region, which includes 23 countries. This one-year fixed-term role focuses on advancing HR initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering strategic partnerships across AMD's EMEA region.
Reporting to the EMEA HR BP Director, the HR Manager will collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to support people initiatives, organizational development and driving HR programs across the region aligned with AMD's strategic goals.

You are a proactive and collaborative HR professional with experience supporting multiple countries in EMEA. You bring a consultative approach and strong execution skills. You thrive in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. Your ability to build relationships, communicate strategically and effectively, and deliver results makes you a trusted partner and advisor to business leaders and HR colleagues alike.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee milestone tracking, risk management, and cross-functional alignment across HR disciplines and business units to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
 - Partner with HR BPs and COEs on annual processes to drive workforce planning, promotions, and compensation reviews in collaboration with HRBPs and Total Rewards.
 - Act as a liaison between EMEA HR teams and global counterparts to ensure seamless collaboration, strategic alignment and knowledge flow.
 - Coordinate regional execution of enterprise-wide HR initiatives, ensuring local relevance and impact.
 - Drive pay-for-performance including salary planning, promotions, resource planning and talent calibration.
 - Act as an advisor to business leaders on issues relating to policy interpretation and employee relations.
 - Facilitate strategic off-sites to drive the people strategies that enable positive business impact
 - Analyze and communicate insights using the HR dashboard and the key talent metrics to provide guidance to the business
 - Provide EMEA-specific insights to shape global HR strategy and inform policy development, ensuring regional relevance and responsiveness.
 
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
- 7+ years in HR management within multinational environments across EMEA.
 - Trusted strategic communicator, adept at influencing and engaging with stakeholder groups across functions and geographies with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
 - Highly structured and execution-oriented, focused on outcomes and a proactive approach to driving initiatives forward.
 - Exceptional interpersonal and consulting skills.
 - Brings a decisive leadership mindset, balancing urgency with strategic clarity to deliver results in dynamic environments.
 - Proven experience supporting senior HR leaders.
 - Experience in HRIS systems, collaboration tools, and data visualization platforms.
 - Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred.
