THE ROLE:

We are searching for a senior technical leader to join the LDO Team to define architecture, designs and roadmap for Linear Voltage Regulators and related circuits (LDOs).  The successful candidate is expected to be a technical leader working on LDO architecture and circuits, as well as interaction with system and the rest of the circuit design team for future leading-edge AMD SOCs.

 

THE PERSON:

You will possess very strong problem-solving skills and bring broad experience in LDO regulators and other on-die voltage regulation circuits and methodology, with a strong, self-motivated work ethic. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on architecture, feasibility, design, and system integration of high-performance LDO designs for AMD products
  • Work with the rest of the LDO and other AMD design teams to maintain this roadmap and implement in AMD products
  • Provide mentorship as a technical leader for designers in the LDO design team
  • Align and contribute to AMD methodologies, and the wider analog design team
  • Enable best-in-class adaptive power and clocking methodologies for AMD products
  • Hands on schematic design, silicon testing and debug work as needed

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep knowledge and experience of LDO regulator design and other on-die voltage regulation, including analog circuit design and operation, integration with the wider system, modeling, silicon validation and debug
  • Experience of FinFET and/or post-FinFET analog/mixed-signal circuit designs including impact on performance and methodologies for variation-tolerance
  • Strong cross functional technical project leadership and communication skills, and experience of self-directed work
  • Experience working seamlessly across engineering disciplines and geographies to deliver excellent results and solutions
  • Relevant academic background (M. degree preferred) and at least 15 years' progressive experience

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
