The Role:

 

This role will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs/modules to meet the needs of AMD leaders. They will drive growth of leaders at AMD by creating development opportunities appropriate to employees across EMEA, and in-person at the Dublin AMD location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate courses for individual contributors and people managers on a variety of interpersonal skills topics on development for leaders at all levels.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers outcomes-based leadership development curriculum aligned to AMD's values and leadership competencies.
  • Partners closely with a wide variety of key stakeholders to ensure alignment to business objectives, inclusive of sponsorship and support for global learning solutions.
  • Uses instructional design strategies and frameworks, conduct needs analyses, assess requirements, and recommend appropriate learning strategies.
  • Provides training consultation regarding effective delivery options: formal and/or informal learning.
  • Responsible for corporate learning programs, delivered across EMEA and in-person at the AMD Dublin location.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail in carrying out and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables within approved timelines and budget while collaborating with a variety of business leaders on learning program implementation and execution needed within the region.
  • Helps define, measure, and communicate learning outcomes.
  • Evaluates team specific and organizational performance gaps, development needs and build learning solutions to address gaps related to knowledge, skills, and behavior.
  • Provides up-to-date and accurate status information to Leadership Development and HR leadership teams as required.
  • Develop learning modules, user guides and support materials for HR, Leadership, & Management training content.
  • Assists in creation of communications materials (and intranet communications) regarding learning content and events.
Preferred Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience of classroom delivery and instructional design of leadership development courses/programs in a multinational company.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation skills, program management skills to facilitate classes with global audiences.
  • Able to travel regionally (approximately 1 week per quarter), and possibly globally if needed.
  • Experience leading departmental and enterprise-wide learning projects and facilitating meetings with partners.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly growing multinational company.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-region capacity, with strong cross-cultural sensitivities.
  • Ability to prioritize work, balance multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and organization.
  • Preferred experience with leadership assessments (D.I.S.C, Golden Personality Profiler, &/or MBTI, etc.)

 

Academic Credentials: Business, Communications, or HR degree.
