VERIFICATION ENGINEER  

THE ROLE: 

As a member of the AMD AECG group, you will help bring to life cutting-edge designs. As a member of the front-end design verification team, you will work closely with the architecture, IP design, Physical Design teams, and product engineers to achieve first pass silicon success.

THE PERSON:

A successful candidate will work with senior silicon design verification engineers. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Delivering high quality verification of ARM based SOCs
• Achieving 100% code and functional coverage
• Gate level simulations with SDF
• Post silicon support to ensure successful bring up

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 8 to 15+ total of which 3+ years of experience in the verification of Processor and Cache Coherency Systems
• Experience in specifying and developing the verification infrastructure for verifying processor based designs 
• Strong understanding of coherency, cache design and protocols
• Strong analytical problem solving, and attention to details 
• Strong experience in HDL, verification, and general computational logic design/verification concepts
• Knowledge of system-level architecture including buses like AXI/ACE/CHI, AMBA interconnects
• Knowledge of high speed protocols like LPDDR4/LPDDR5/DDR4/DDR5/Ethernet/PCIe/USB
• Expertise in Verilog/System Verilog, UVM, Scripting languages like Perl/Python, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated

• B.Tech/M.Tech ECE/EEE
