THE ROLE: 

As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handle manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors. 

THE PERSON: 

A successful candidate is one who can drive technical decisions independently, has accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project's success.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develops characterization and silicon validation plans for high speed transceivers
• Characterize high speed SERDES with automated flows
• Data analysis and create characterization reports
• Correlation of pre-silicon results with silicon measurements

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Hands on experience in laboratory environment, using lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, Function/Pulse generator
• Experience in using automated methodologies to maximize use of equipment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills
• Skills: Verilog, Python, TCL

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
