THE ROLE:
This role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, improving sales productivity, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support sales team to grow market share for AMD PCs, servers and GPU. You will serve as a strategic partner to sales leadership, helping to scale the business through process optimization, forecasting, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration.
THE PERSON:
An Operation Manager with strong teamwork and coordination skills, adept at aligning internal Sales and Business Units with external customers and distributors to ensure seamless business processes. Possesses fluent English proficiency and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Support regional sales leadership to achieve quarterly revenue target and quota setting.
- Support annual sales planning and prepare the regional Operational Review and Quarterly Business Review for senior management.
- Forecast Management:
- Work closely with regional sales, HQ sales, and business units to align sales forecasting to ensure the accuracy of projections.
- Support forecast updates in Salesforce before weekly cut-off time to ensure a clear number roll-up for HQ review.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs, sales performance, and business trends.
- Provide timely reporting to help the sales team make informed business decisions.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce friction in the sales cycle.
- Optimize internal and external processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Standardize and streamline sales workflows, Pricing request (DPA), and approval processes
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as Disty Ops and Sales Finance, as well as distributors to ensure the timely weekly submission of POS data for sell-through and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure seamless business processes by coordinating with various departments, including finance, business units and customer service.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with different business functions to support the sales team.
- Align internal sales and business units with external customers and distributors.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or revenue operations, preferably in an enterprise or B2B tech environment.
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
- Fluent English proficiency with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience in sales operations, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT etc.)
- Ability to develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting sales teams in achieving revenue targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
