THE ROLE:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, activating, coordinating and monitoring AMD marketing activities with multiple OEM commercial client marketing teams.
The incumbent will work in tandem with the Regional Sales and OEM Sales teams from the commercial part of the business, as well as with AMD's in-country Marketing managers and will report into the EMEA OEM Marketing Lead.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will hold an OEM marketing and digital marketing background which includes experience in data driven marketing as well as project management skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning, creating, managing, and aligning co-marketing campaigns with +15 commercial countries in EMEA. Activating and monitoring co-marketing campaigns with key customers and 3rd parties like Resellers, Distributors and OEM partner base.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to concept, design and execute ROI driven marketing plans and campaigns around brand awareness and demand generation for AMD's key commercial client products in EMEA

Additional responsibilities:

  • Serves as a key Commercial marketing contact in EMEA for OEM marketing budgets, plans and execution topics/queries.
  • Defines and executes marketing plans with Commercial Marketing teams across EMEA with key customers commercial VARs, etail/retail and distribution customers.
  • Priority is to build and maintain relationships with tier 1 countries
  • Work in close collaboration with the regional commercial client marketing team.
  • Align regional needs and plans with AMD's HQ GTM and regional Sales GAM functions.
  • Develop schedules, track progress, and provide quality assurance for regional marketing plans.
  • Produce campaign debriefs, including regular reports and ROI calculation.
  • Take a proactive and positive approach in seeking ways to improve all aspects of AMD and OEM commercial client marketing activities.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional with 3+ years' relevant work experience in the Semi-conductor, CE or IT marketing working with large MNC's.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office suit with a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management skills, interpersonal skills & keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • The candidate will need to demonstrate drive, ambition and be self-motivated.

 

The ideal candidate for this role is ROI focused with strong project management skills, able to build relationships, work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Master degree or similar, preferred Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Studies
