The Role:

As the Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the test engineering function within the product development lifecycle. You will oversee a team of highly test engineers and technicians, driving the development and implementation of test strategies, methodologies, and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of high-end products. This is leadership position that requires engagement with cross-functional teams, including design, R&D, manufacturing, BU and quality assurance, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and innovation in test engineering practices.

We're looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership, good stakeholder management, and is comfortable driving multi-functional engineering teams. You must be a strong and effective communicator which are essential when working with a global team. You must have a good technical grasp of ATE DFT features, IP knowledges and test program. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of test engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for new product development projects, including test coverage, automation, and validation methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications, ensuring that testability and reliability considerations are addressed early in the design process.
• Implement post-silicon bring-up plans and ensure timely release of high quality test programs with the defined contents based on samples phase requirements
• Drive multi-functional debug activities during NPI phase
• Drive the development of automated test systems and fixtures to streamline test execution and improve efficiency.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor test effectiveness, product quality, and team performance.
• Oversee the execution of test plans and procedures, ensuring that tests are conducted accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently.
• Analyze test data and results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test engineering technologies and methodologies, and drive the adoption of best practices within the organization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition of products from development to production, including transfer of test processes and equipment.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in test engineering, including 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong technical background in test engineering methodologies, including test planning, test automation, and validation.
• Proven track record of leading successful test engineering teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Experience with automated test systems and fixtures design and development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and drive effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• ATE content development and knowledge
• Strong communication skills at both the technical and executive levels, including the ability to create and discuss technical documentation and presentations

Academic Credentials:

• BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
