THE ROLE: 

AMD is seeking a Sr. Program Management Analyst for the G&E SOC Central Operations Team. We are a global team responsible for the design and development of data center, artificial intelligence, PC, and gaming solutions. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our designs are delivered on time and on schedule. 

 

THE PERSON: 

This dynamic role will require a balance of technical aptitude and organizational skills. The position requires a highly collaborative and outcome-driven mindset, exceptional communication skills, and ability to present to and engage with stakeholders and leaders at multiple levels. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and maintain financial models in support of quarterly, annual, and long-range planning and AOP attainment
  • Help develop and implement strong and repeatable Operational processes and procedures
  • Work with the operations, program management, and engineering teams to develop tools and systems to track and analyze key engineering metrics
  • Serve as the main interface between the G&E SOC Central Operations team and AMD Corporate Finance
  • Create executive reports for all responsibilities listed above 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Operations, Finance, and/or Program management background, ideally in the semiconductor field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI
  • Fundamental understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles 
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Finance
